Morey Herskovic PDF Print E-mail

 

Morey Herskovic is a 1974 Graduate of the Detroit College of Law. Since his second year of Law School, he has been actively involved in the representation of people who have been injured by negligent acts of manufacturers, employers, individuals and health care professional. Over the past 32 years, he has successfully litigated cases throughout the state of Michigan. During his years of practice he has developed a reputation in the legal community as an aggressive, reasonable client advocate.

 

Because of his reputation and success, he had been asked to serve as a Case Evaluator and Mediator by the Courts of Macomb, Wayne and Oakland Counties. He has also been asked by the Macomb County Bench to sit on various committees involved in alternative dispute resolution programs.

 

Mr. Herskovic handles all forms of personal injury, but spends most of his professional time representing clients who have been injured by professional health care providers, and the negligent operators of trucks and other motor vehicles.

 

Mr. Herskovic's professional affiliations include the State Bar of Michigan, the Bar Associations of Oakland, Macomb and Wayne Counties, the American Arbitration Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is also a sustaining member of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association.

Jim Spagnuolo PDF Print E-mail

 

Jim Spagnuolo began working in the personal injury area of the law over nine years ago as a law clerk for the law firm of Lopatin, Miller, Freedman, Bluestone, Herskovic & Domol during his first year of law school at Wayne State University School of Law. After graduating and passing the Bar, Jim was asked to leave the Lopatin, Miller firm by Stuart Freedman and Maurice Herskovic, who were leaving to start their own firm. Jim has been with Stuart and Morey since the firm's inception in August of 2002.

 

Jim specializes in automobile cases, both first party, which is a case against your own insurance company for medical benefits, wage loss benefits, and other benefits you may be entitled to under the Michigan No-Fault Law, and third party cases, which is an action against the person who caused the automobile accident. He has a special interest in pursuing institutional fraud claims against insurance companies for their fraudulent business practices in wrongfully denying claims to their insureds in order to increase the company's profits. He also handles medical malpractice, products liability, general negligence, and premises liability claims.

 

In addition to personal injury, Jim has handled mold cases involving the failure to disclose on a seller's disclosure statement for the sale and/or purchase of residential homes. Jim has been very successful in his handling of these types of cases, and has achieved significant settlements.

 

He is also interested in special education law and zealously pursues school districts to provide children with special needs the services that they are entitled to.

 

Jim is or has been a member of the State Bar, Oakland County Bar Association, Macomb County Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Michigan Association of Justice – Sustaining Member, Italian American Bar Association of Michigan, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, Families Exploring Down Syndrome, ARC Services of Macomb, Brain Injury Association of Michigan and has been a life member of the Disabled American Veterans since being Honorably Discharged from the United States Marine Corps.

Natalie Herskovic PDF Print E-mail

 

Natalie Herskovic began working in the personal injury area of the law three years ago as a law clerk for the law firm of Freedman, Herskovic & Spagnuolo, PLC. After graduating and passing the Bar, Natalie began her practice of law in the field of creditor’s rights. After practicing in that area many months, Natalie returned to Freedman, Herskovic & Spagnuolo, PLC where her career began, representing accident victims and people injured by the carelessness of others.

 

Natalie handles automobile cases such as first party claims, which are cases against your own insurance company for medical benefits, wage loss benefits, and other benefits you may be entitled to under the Michigan No-Fault Law.

 

She also handles third party cases, which are actions against the person who caused the automobile accident. Natalie also works on medical malpractice, general negligence and premises liability claims.

 

In addition to personal injury, Natalie has expanded her areas of practice and has handled many criminal misdemeanor cases in various district courts. Natalie also handles many court appointed misdemeanor matters ranging from driving while license suspended to driving while intoxicated. Occasionally, Natalie has been asked to handle domestic violence matters.

David Herskovic PDF Print E-mail

David’s area of practice focuses primarily on civil litigation and criminal appeals and he has been actively involved in many of the firm’s cases. In addition to civil litigation and criminal appeals, David has assisted clients in Landlord/Tenant, Real Estate, Commercial Business, Bankruptcy, Family, Appellate and Criminal Matters. David feels that maintaining a general practice helps him develop effective strategies for litigation clients by assisting in all of their needs and not just one.

 

Prior to joining Freedman, Herskovic and Spagnuolo PLC, David attended the University of Arizona, where he received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Media Arts. David continued his education at Michigan State University’s College of Law, where he obtained his Law degree. Additionally, David clerked for current Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Deborah Servitto, during her time with Macomb County Circuit Court, as a judicial intern, where he gained invaluable experience and insight regarding judicial proceedings.

 

David is a member of the Michigan Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan as well as the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
